Official narratives are always deliberate departures from truth, because "official" is a function of institutionalized control -- not love for truth. So, no matter what the truth turns out to be, official narratives are based on what Harry Frankfurt explains in his delightful little book On Bullshit (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_Bullshit) as "disregard for truth". Whatever serves the control agenda is "true", regardless of what's true and regardless of truth itself.

In this way, by definition and nature, all official narratives are, fundamentally, lies.
